Professional Standards for Educational Excellence and Integrity

At Greece Lean Six Sigma, we recognize that our trainers, facilitators, and assessors represent not only the quality of our content but the values and professionalism of our brand. This Trainer Code of Ethics and Conduct Policy outlines the standards of behavior, instructional responsibility, and ethical obligations expected of every training associate, in alignment with our commitment to ISO 21001:2018 and ISO 29993:2017.

This policy applies to all trainers delivering Greece Lean Six Sigma programs, including subcontracted experts, guest facilitators, and internal staff in teaching roles.


Purpose

This Code ensures:

  • Consistent professional conduct across all learning environments
  • Trust and transparency between trainers and learners
  • Alignment with international educational, ethical, and certification standards
  • Respect for intellectual, cultural, and personal diversity

Trainer Conduct Standards

All Greece Lean Six Sigma trainers must:

  1. Act with Integrity
    • Deliver content honestly, without exaggeration of credentials, experience, or outcomes
    • Avoid conflicts of interest or disclose them fully if they arise
    • Uphold exam and assessment integrity at all times
  2. Demonstrate Professionalism
    • Arrive prepared, punctual, and appropriately dressed for all sessions (online or in-person)
    • Maintain respectful and professional language and demeanor with all learners and staff
    • Avoid discriminatory, abusive, or inflammatory remarks or behavior
  3. Respect Learner Dignity
    • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and psychologically safe environment
    • Accommodate diverse learning styles and accessibility needs
    • Uphold confidentiality of learner performance or personal disclosures
  4. Honor Intellectual Property
    • Use only approved and licensed materials in training sessions
    • Attribute sources clearly and avoid unauthorized duplication or distribution of proprietary content
  5. Commit to Continuous Learning
    • Stay current in subject matter expertise and instructional design practices
    • Participate in Greece Lean Six Sigma’s trainer development and calibration sessions
    • Provide constructive feedback to help us improve our curriculum and learner experience
  6. Protect Data and Privacy
    • Follow all relevant data protection guidelines (GDPR, ISO/IEC 27701)
    • Do not store, share, or use learner data outside authorized platforms or purposes
  7. Support Assessment Fairness
    • Administer exams or project evaluations impartially
    • Provide clear, timely, and evidence-based feedback
    • Report any suspected misconduct or plagiarism to the Academic Director

Breach of Code and Disciplinary Actions

Violations of this Code will be investigated by the Academic Director and/or Ethics Committee. Depending on the severity of the breach, outcomes may include:

  • Verbal or written warning
  • Temporary suspension from training assignments
  • Termination of trainer agreement
  • Report to certification partners or regulatory authorities (if required)

Acknowledgment and Review

All trainers must:

  • Sign the Trainer Agreement & Code of Ethics Acknowledgment Form before their first assignment
  • Review this policy annually or upon substantive update
  • Refer to this Code in case of uncertainty or dilemma during course delivery
