1. Purpose
This declaration affirms that Greece Lean Six Sigma is committed to aligning its strategy, operations, and stakeholder engagement with the principles and core subjects of ISO 26000:2010 – Guidance on Social Responsibility. Though ISO 26000 is a guidance standard and not certifiable, we consider its framework essential for building an ethical, transparent, and sustainable organization.
2. Scope
This declaration applies to all training, consulting, and business operations delivered under the Greece Lean Six Sigma brand, including live courses, digital content, academic partnerships, and corporate improvement projects in Greece and internationally.
3. Reference Standard

- Provides guidance, not requirements
- Applicable to all types of organizations regardless of size or sector
4. Our Alignment with ISO 26000 Core Subjects
We align our values, policies, and actions with the seven core subjects defined by ISO 26000, as follows:
1. Organizational Governance
- We operate under a clearly defined governance structure with transparency, accountability, and compliance with international quality and privacy standards (ISO 9001, ISO 21001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701).
- Decisions are guided by stakeholder consultation and ethical considerations.
2. Human Rights
- We uphold the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
- We respect non-discrimination, freedom of expression, and the right to education through accessible and inclusive training programs.
3. Labour Practices
- We promote decent work conditions through partnerships and advocate for fair, inclusive labor practices in client environments.
- Our training and delivery adhere to professional codes of conduct, continuous development, and health-conscious digital working models.
4. The Environment
- We support environmental stewardship by delivering primarily paperless, remote-first training to reduce carbon emissions.
- We teach Lean Six Sigma tools that help organizations reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and achieve climate goals (SDG 12, SDG 13).
5. Fair Operating Practices
- We maintain strong anti-bribery policies (aligned with ISO 37001) and uphold GDPR compliance in all data interactions.
- We avoid conflicts of interest and uphold fair marketing and transparent pricing.
6. Consumer Issues (Learner & Client Rights)
- We provide clear, accessible course information, refund and appeal procedures, and maintain privacy protection.
- We encourage informed decision-making and continuous learner feedback mechanisms.
7. Community Involvement and Development
- We offer free webinars, mentorship to youth and women in Lean Six Sigma, and support municipal training efforts.
- We aim to strengthen capacity in local communities through education and continuous improvement culture.
