1. Introduction

At Greece Lean Six Sigma, we recognize that long-term business excellence is inseparable from ethical, social, and environmental responsibility. As an accredited training and consulting organization, we are committed to promoting sustainable practices through our services and internal operations. This Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Policy outlines our commitments and guiding principles, aligned with international standards such as the ISO 26000 Guidance on Social Responsibility and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

2. Environmental Responsibility

We aim to minimize our environmental footprint by adopting low-impact practices and promoting sustainability through Lean methodologies.

Our commitments:

  • Deliver training programs using digital materials and reduce paper consumption.
  • Favor remote, online-first delivery to reduce travel-related emissions.
  • Encourage clients to apply Lean Six Sigma tools (e.g., 5S, VSM, Root Cause Analysis) to reduce waste, energy use, and environmental impact.
  • Support SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG 13: Climate Action through our training and consulting services.

3. Social Responsibility

We believe in inclusive education, ethical labor practices, and contributing to the development of people and communities.

Our commitments:

  • Promote equal access to quality education (SDG 4) through affordable, multilingual programs and free refreshers/webinars.
  • Actively mentor women in quality and operational excellence (SDG 5), and support gender diversity in leadership.
  • Offer pro bono training to non-profit organizations, youth, and underserved professionals.
  • Engage in partnerships with universities, municipalities, and businesses to support SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

4. Governance and Ethics

Our business is grounded in transparency, integrity, and compliance with all applicable laws and ethical standards.

Our commitments:

  • Operate in full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Ensure ethical certification, complaints handling, and assessment practices, in line with ISO/IEC 17024 and ASTM E2659 standards.
  • Maintain clear anti-corruption and conflict of interest principles, especially in project delivery and trainer conduct.
  • Publish terms, policies, and procedures for transparency and accessibility across all stakeholders.

5. Continuous Improvement and ESG Integration

As a Lean-focused organization, we commit to continual improvement in our ESG performance and stakeholder engagement.

We pledge to:

  • Review our ESG policy annually and revise goals based on new standards, client feedback, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Integrate ESG topics into our Lean Six Sigma curriculum, including SDG mapping, green Lean, and ethical leadership.
  • Report key ESG outcomes in an annual Impact Snapshot shared via our website.
