Athens, 4 July 2025

Greece Lean Six Sigma is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Bronze Award in the category Leading with Operational Excellence – Online Blended Training at the prestigious Education Leaders Awards 2025. This distinction acknowledges Greece Lean Six Sigma’s commitment to educational innovation, operational excellence, and high-quality professional development in the Greek and international learning ecosystem.

The award-winning programme, entitled Leading with Operational Excellence, was designed and implemented as an innovative blended learning initiative for a globally active organisation. The programme adopted a mixed-mode approach, seamlessly combining synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities to accommodate diverse learner needs and enhance engagement and knowledge retention.

Specifically, the synchronous component emphasised interactive live lectures delivered by experienced instructors, fostering direct dialogue, reflection, and collaboration. The asynchronous component provided complementary self-paced online modules, accessible via a dedicated Learning Management System (LMS), offering learners flexibility in scheduling and learning rhythm. To ensure maximum effectiveness and applicability, the training also integrated microlearning and bite-sized content, curated and adapted to specific professional roles and operational contexts.

The Education Leaders Awards, organised for the tenth consecutive year by BOUSSIAS Events, constitute Greece’s foremost institution recognising excellence and innovation in education. The 2025 awards ceremony, held on Thursday, 3 July at the National Insurance Conference Center in Athens, celebrated outstanding contributions across all levels of public and private education. This year’s edition was particularly significant, marking a decade of continuous support for transformative educational practices and showcasing hundreds of exemplary initiatives that redefine how education can meet the demands of a rapidly evolving world.

More than 250 senior education executives, representatives from universities, public institutions, private organisations, and members of the press attended the ceremony, underscoring the importance of cross-sector collaboration in advancing educational standards.

Receiving this award highlights the capacity of Greece Lean Six Sigma to deliver cutting-edge, evidence-based learning experiences that empower professionals to develop operational excellence competencies critical to sustainable organisational performance. The recognition also reinforces the company’s strategic orientation towards digital transformation in learning, the promotion of lifelong skill development, and the cultivation of agile mindsets among today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.

On this occasion, Greece Lean Six Sigma would like to express sincere appreciation to the Education Leaders Awards committee, the distinguished jury chaired by Ms. Anna Diamantopoulou, and the entire BOUSSIAS team for this honour. We remain committed to continuously advancing our educational offerings to help individuals and organisations achieve measurable, high-impact results.
