Greece Lean Six Sigma
Our Logo and Lean Philosophy
At Greece Lean Six Sigma, our logo is not a decorative element.
It is a visual expression of how we understand improvement, learning, and performance.
The forward-pointing triangle is a universal symbol of direction and intent. It represents purposeful movement—progress that is guided, not rushed. This reflects the essence of Lean Six Sigma: structured advancement through clarity, discipline, and flow.
Our work focuses on helping organisations design systems that allow value to move smoothly, predictably, and sustainably—rather than relying on pressure, acceleration, or ad-hoc fixes.
Flow, Change, and Continuous Improvement
The philosophy behind our logo is rooted in two complementary traditions.
From Heraclitus, the ancient Greek philosopher, comes the principle Panta Rhei—everything flows. Change is constant, inevitable, and natural. Excellence is not achieved by resisting change, but by understanding and governing it.
From Taiichi Ohno, architect of the Toyota Production System, comes the operational expression of this idea:
value should flow to the customer without interruption, distortion, or waste.
Ohno described an ideal system as a calm, even-flowing river—free of dams, bottlenecks, or artificial acceleration. Lean Six Sigma exists to remove what obstructs that flow.
This balance between stability and movement is embedded in our visual identity.
Geometry as Meaning: Structure with Direction
Our logo combines triangles and trapezoids—simple geometric forms chosen with intent.
- Triangles represent direction, focus, and structural strength. They signal purpose and orientation—core elements of disciplined improvement.
- Trapezoids introduce proportion, balance, and adaptability. They reflect systems that can evolve without losing coherence.
Together, these forms express a central Lean principle:
progress requires structure, and structure must allow movement.
Lean Six Sigma is both a science and a practice—rigorous in method, yet responsive to real environments. Our logo reflects this duality.
Why Our Logo Matters
The GLSS logo functions as a signal of how we operate.
It represents:
- efficiency without haste,
- improvement without disruption,
- change governed by principles, not trends.
It reminds us—and those we work with—that sustainable performance is achieved when organisations balance clarity, capability, and respect for people.
This is the standard we apply in training, certification, and consulting.
Brand Colours and Their Role
Our colour palette is deliberately restrained. Each colour supports clarity, trust, and professionalism—essential in learning, assessment, and governance contexts.
- Blue (#0094DA)
Inspired by the Greek sea and landscape, blue represents trust, reliability, and depth. It signals credibility, focus, and calm authority. - White (#FFFFFF)
Reflecting simplicity and clarity, white reinforces our belief in straightforward solutions, transparent communication, and accessible learning design. - Grey & Light Grey (#797A7B / #C6C8C9)
These tones express balance, neutrality, and judgment—qualities required for objective assessment and responsible decision-making. - Dark Grey (#595959)
Symbolising maturity and professionalism, dark grey reflects accountability and seriousness of purpose.
Together, these colours create a visual language of measured confidence—supporting environments where people are trained, evaluated, and trusted.
A Visual Expression of Our Practice
Our logo and visual identity are inseparable from our philosophy.
They represent an approach to Lean Six Sigma that is:
- thoughtful rather than theatrical,
- structured rather than rigid,
- progressive without losing balance.
This is how we design learning.
This is how we govern improvement.
This is how value flows.
