1. Purpose & Reference Framework
At Greece Lean Six Sigma, we recognize that long-term operational excellence is inseparable from ethical conduct, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
As a training, certification, and business transformation organization, we are committed to embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles:
- in the services we design and deliver, and
- in the way we operate, govern, and make decisions as an organization.
This ESG Policy provides the framework for our commitments and is aligned with:
- ISO 26000 – Guidance on Social Responsibility
- United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)
- Lean thinking principles, ethical leadership, and responsible governance practices.
2. Environmental Responsibility (Environmental)
Our objective is to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable practices through Lean methodologies and responsible resource management.
Our commitments include:
- Digital-first learning delivery, minimizing paper use and physical materials.
- Remote and hybrid delivery models, reducing emissions related to travel.
- Integration of Lean environmental improvement tools (e.g. 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis) in client projects to support:
- waste reduction,
- energy efficiency,
- responsible resource consumption.
- Active support of:
- SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
- SDG 13 – Climate Action
3. Social Responsibility (Social)
We believe that sustainable growth is driven by people, knowledge, and equitable access to learning and development opportunities.
Our commitments include:
- Equal access to quality education (SDG 4) through:

- multilingual learning materials,
- free refresher sessions and open webinars.
- Empowerment of women in Quality, Lean, and Operational Excellence disciplines (SDG 5) through mentoring, visibility, and leadership support.
- Provision of pro bono training initiatives for:

- individuals from underrepresented or vulnerable groups.
- Development of partnerships with:

4. Governance, Ethics & Compliance (Governance)
Greece Lean Six Sigma operates under principles of transparency, integrity, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
We are committed to:

- EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR),
- data protection and privacy governance policies.
- Ethical practices in training, assessment, and certification, aligned with:
- ISO/IEC 17024
- ASTM E2659
- Clear policies addressing:
- anti-corruption,
- conflict of interest,
- ethical conduct of trainers, assessors, and partners.
- Public availability of policies, terms, and procedures to ensure transparency and accessibility for all interested parties.
5. ESG Integration & Continuous Improvement
As a Lean-driven organization, we treat ESG as a continuous improvement system, not a static compliance exercise.
We commit to:
- Reviewing this ESG Policy annually.
- Embedding ESG themes into our Lean Six Sigma curricula, including:
- SDG mapping,
- Green Lean practices,
- Ethical and responsible leadership.
- Publishing key ESG indicators and outcomes through an annual:
ESG / Sustainability Impact Snapshot, available on our website.
