1. Purpose
This declaration confirms the commitment of Greece Lean Six Sigma to align its strategy, governance, operations, and stakeholder engagement with the principles and core subjects of ISO 26000:2010 – Guidance on Social Responsibility.
Although ISO 26000 is a guidance standard and not intended for certification, we adopt its framework as a strategic reference for ethical conduct, sustainable development, transparency, and societal impact. The principles of ISO 26000 are embedded across our policies, learning services, consulting practices, and ESG governance.
2. Scope
This declaration applies to all activities and services delivered under the Greece Lean Six Sigma brand, including but not limited to:
- Professional training and certification programs
- Consulting and improvement projects
- Digital learning platforms and educational content
- Academic, public sector, and corporate partnerships
- Internal governance and stakeholder engagement practices
The declaration applies to operations in Greece and internationally.
3. Reference Standard
ISO 26000:2010 – Guidance on Social Responsibility
- Provides guidance, not requirements
- Is not a management system standard
- Is applicable to organizations of all sizes and sectors
- Emphasizes integration of social responsibility into organizational culture and decision-making
4. Alignment with the ISO 26000 Core Subjects
Greece Lean Six Sigma aligns its values, policies, and actions with the seven core subjects of ISO 26000, as outlined below.
4.1 Organizational Governance
We operate under a clear, transparent, and accountable governance structure, supported by documented policies and procedures.
- Strategic and operational decisions are guided by ethical considerations, stakeholder expectations, and risk-based thinking
- Governance is aligned with internationally recognized standards, including:
