Greece Lean Six Sigma (GLSS)

(Educational Organizations Management System – EOMS)

Educational Organization Policy

At Greece Lean Six Sigma (GLSS), we are committed to designing and delivering high-quality, learner-centred, and evidence-based education that builds professional competence, strengthens decision-making, and supports sustainable operational excellence.

As an educational organization, we recognize our responsibility toward learners, client organizations, certification bodies, and society to ensure that learning outcomes are relevant, credible, accessible, and measurable.

This policy forms the foundation of the Educational Organizations Management System (EOMS) of GLSS and is fully aligned with the principles and requirements of ISO 21001:2018.

Our Educational Commitments

1. Learner-Centred Education

Learners are at the core of our educational mission.

We design and deliver programs that respond to real professional and organizational needs across sectors such as:

  • Manufacturing & Production
  • Hospitality & Tourism
  • Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Professional Services and SMEs

We take into account different levels of experience, languages, learning styles, and operational environments to ensure relevance and impact.

2. Alignment with Competency Frameworks and International Standards

Our training programs are aligned with:

  • internationally recognized certification schemes (IASSC / PeopleCert, ILSSI, PECB, CSSC)
  • international standards and guidance, including ISO 9001, ISO 13053, and ISO 18404

Our objective is for learners to acquire practical, transferable, and professionally applicable competencies, rather than theoretical knowledge alone.

3. Accessibility, Equity, and Inclusion

We are committed to providing equal access to learning opportunities, regardless of gender, nationality, age, disability, or socio-economic background.

Our learning design:

  • follows principles of inclusive education
  • supports neurodiversity-aware learning
  • is implemented across face-to-face, blended, and digital learning environments

4. Engagement of Interested Parties

We actively engage with:

  • learners and alumni
  • client organizations and employers
  • certification and accreditation bodies
  • academic and professional institutions

Stakeholder feedback is systematically collected and used to enhance the relevance, effectiveness, and credibility of our educational services.

5. Evidence-Based Learning and Continual Improvement

The development, delivery, and evaluation of our programs are based on:

  • objective data and performance indicators
  • learner feedback and satisfaction analysis
  • internal reviews and audits

Our instructional design follows adult learning principles, experiential learning, and real-world application, ensuring continuous improvement of learning outcomes.

6. Qualified Trainers and Ethical Conduct

GLSS trainers, coaches, and assessors are selected based on:

  • proven qualifications and professional experience
  • continuous professional development
  • compliance with the GLSS Code of Ethics and Conduct

We ensure high standards of instructional quality, impartiality, professionalism, and learner respect.

7. Sustainability and Social Responsibility in Education

We integrate Lean thinking, responsible governance, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) into both our curriculum and our operational practices.

For GLSS, education is a driver of systemic, ethical, and sustainable transformation, not merely knowledge transfer.

Governance and Policy Review

This policy:

  • is communicated to staff, trainers, partners, and learners
  • forms part of the integrated management system of GLSS
  • is reviewed annually as part of the Management Review process to ensure ongoing suitability, effectiveness, and compliance with ISO 21001:2018
