What is ISO/IEC 27001
ISO/IEC 27001:2022 sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS). It helps organisations protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information.
It is risk-based and comes with the Annex A controls, explained in ISO/IEC 27002. It is the foundation for compliance with NIS 2, DORA and GDPR.
