What is ISO/IEC 27701
ISO/IEC 27701 sets out the requirements for a privacy information management system (PIMS). Since the 2025 edition it can also be applied on its own, not only as an extension to ISO/IEC 27001.
It helps controllers and processors organise and evidence compliance with the GDPR and other privacy laws.
