Lean Deployment

Lean Deployment: an organisation-wide Lean roll-out with a clear roadmap

We design and deliver your Lean implementation with you, from the first pilot area to a system that runs without external help.

  • 12 to 24 month roadmap
  • Pilot area first
  • Ownership transfer

What is a Lean Deployment?

A Lean Deployment is the structured implementation of Lean principles and tools across an organisation or an entire value stream, with a clear goal, leadership, roles and KPIs.

It differs from isolated improvement projects. A project solves one problem. A deployment changes how the organisation finds and solves problems every day.

Why many Lean implementations do not last

The most common causes we see:

  • Leadership delegates Lean instead of leading it
  • Training without real projects and without coaching
  • Too many parallel initiatives without priorities
  • Tools (5S, boards) without daily performance management
  • No KPIs that show whether the change is working
  • Dependency on external consultants

We design every deployment to avoid these traps from day one.

The Lean Deployment roadmap in 5 phases

Duration depends on the size and maturity of the organisation. A full deployment typically takes 12 to 24 months.

Diagnose & Vision

We start from data, not from tools.

We assess maturity, map the key value streams and agree with leadership on the vision, goals and baseline KPIs.

Deliverables:

  • OpEx Health Check
  • Current-state Value Stream Map
  • Baseline KPIs
  • Deployment vision and goals
1

Pilot area

We prove the value on a small scale.

We select one area with a visible problem and a committed owner. There we apply the Lean foundations and measure the result.

Typically includes:

  • 5S and visual management
  • Standard work
  • Short daily performance meetings
  • Kaizen workshops
  • A3 problem solving
2

Capability building

Your people learn by doing.

We train managers and teams in Lean and Lean Six Sigma, always with a real project and coaching, so knowledge stays in the organisation.

Typically includes:

  • Yellow Belt for the front line
  • Green Belt for project leaders
  • Lean Leadership for management
  • Project coaching and Gemba walks
3

Scale & integrate

From the pilot to the whole organisation.

We standardise what works and extend it to other value streams. We connect Lean with strategy, KPIs and the management system.

Typically includes:

  • Hoshin Kanri and goal deployment
  • Tiered daily management
  • KPI tree
  • Integration into ISO (Lean ISO)
4

Sustain

The system runs with your own people.

We transfer ownership to your internal Continuous Improvement team and remain available for periodic assessments and support.

Typically includes:

  • Lean maturity assessment
  • Leader standard work
  • Internal coaches
  • Improvement Partner, if needed

Governance: who does what

Steering committee

Leadership sets priorities, removes barriers and reviews results.

Deployment lead

A manager from your organisation who owns the programme.

Area owners

The managers who apply and sustain the changes in their area.

Belts & teams

The people who deliver projects and solve problems every day.

Greece Lean Six Sigma

Design, training, coaching and objective progress monitoring.

Lean Deployment: frequently asked questions

What is a Lean Deployment?

The structured implementation of Lean principles and tools across an organisation or an entire value stream, with leadership, roles, KPIs and a roadmap.

How long does it take?

The pilot phase delivers results within a few months. A full organisation-wide deployment typically takes 12 to 24 months.

Does it fit hotels and service companies?

Yes. Lean applies to every workflow, from production to front office, housekeeping, back office and logistics.

Does everyone need to be trained?

Not at once. Training follows the roadmap: first the pilot area team and managers, then the other teams.

What happens when the engagement ends?

Ownership transfer is our goal from the start. The organisation keeps internal coaches and can have periodic support if it wishes.
