Recording and Online Learning Sessions Policy

Greece Lean Six Sigma (GLSS) delivers online and hybrid programmes through platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom. This policy sets out when sessions are recorded, how recordings are used and how personal data is protected, in line with the GDPR.

When We Record

• sessions are recorded only when this serves a learning purpose, such as revision or catching up on a missed session
• participants are informed before recording starts, and the platform shows it clearly
• participants may keep their camera off and communicate via chat
• exams, one-to-one mentoring and meetings involving confidential client data are not recorded unless agreed in writing

Legal Basis

Recording is based on GLSS’s legitimate interest in providing quality training or, where required, on participants’ consent. For in-house programmes, recording terms are agreed with the client.

Access and Retention

• recordings are available only to participants of the specific programme, through a secure link
• they are kept for up to 90 days after the programme ends and are then deleted
• downloading, republishing or sharing recordings with others is not allowed
• clips for promotional use are made only with the explicit written consent of the people shown

Recording by Participants

Participants may not record audio, video or screenshots of sessions without the permission of the trainer and the other participants.

Your Rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection under the GDPR. For any request, contact info@greeceleansixsigma.gr. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority.

Review

This policy is reviewed annually or when platforms or legal requirements change.
