Learning Services Policy
At Greece Lean Six Sigma (GLSS), we design and deliver high-quality, non-formal learning services that build professional capability, improve organisational performance, and support sustainable transformation.
Our learning services in Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, Leadership, Quality, and Business Transformation are delivered with clarity, transparency, learner focus, and measurable outcomes, in full alignment with the requirements of ISO 29993:2017.
This policy defines the principles governing the design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement of all GLSS learning services.
Policy Objectives
1. Clarity and Transparency of Learning Services
We ensure that all learning services clearly communicate, prior to enrolment:
- learning objectives and intended outcomes
- target audience, prerequisites, and admission criteria
- duration, workload, delivery format (on-site, online, hybrid), and language
- assessment, certification, or completion conditions
- pricing, terms, and refund conditions
Learners are provided with sufficient information to make informed decisions and to understand expectations before participation.
2. Learner Engagement and Support
Our learning services are designed to actively engage learners and support effective knowledge transfer.
We provide:
- pre-course information and technical guidance
- structured, facilitator-led learning with interaction and feedback
- learning materials and tools aligned with adult learning principles
- post-training resources, guidance, and where applicable, learning communities
Learner support is adapted to delivery mode and learner profile.
3. Qualified Trainers and Facilitators
GLSS trainers, facilitators, and assessors are selected based on:
- verified subject-matter expertise and professional experience
- instructional and facilitation competence
- continuous professional development
- adherence to the GLSS Code of Ethics and Conduct
Trainer performance is monitored and reviewed to ensure instructional quality, impartiality, and consistency.
4. Result-Oriented Learning Design
All GLSS learning services are designed around intended learning outcomes.
Effectiveness is evaluated through, where applicable:
- pre- and post-learning assessments
- practical exercises, simulations, and real-world case applications
- learner feedback and satisfaction surveys
- certification or competence assessments
Learning is measured not only by participation, but by capability gained and applied.
5. Improvement through Feedback and Data
We apply systematic evaluation and improvement practices to our learning services.
This includes:
- analysis of learner feedback and evaluation results
- review of assessment outcomes and completion rates
- internal reviews and audits
- application of Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) logic
Findings are used to improve learning design, delivery methods, materials, and learner support.
6. Inclusiveness and Accessibility
GLSS is committed to equitable access to learning.
Our learning services support:
- multilingual delivery and materials (e.g. Greek and English)
- inclusive and neurodiversity-aware instructional design
- accessibility considerations for digital and physical learning environments
- flexible scheduling to accommodate working professionals
Accessibility and inclusion are treated as design requirements, not optional adjustments.
Policy Review and Integration
This policy:
- forms part of the integrated management system of Greece Lean Six Sigma
- is communicated to trainers, staff, learners, and partners
- is reviewed annually as part of Management Review
It is aligned with and supports:
- ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System
- ISO 21001:2018 – Educational Organizations Management System
- applicable certification body requirements (e.g. PECB, ILSSI, IASSC / PeopleCert)
- applicable legal and regulatory obligations
